Family Fest is just over a week away and I wanted to provide y’all with a little update. The activity schedule is still posted on the website so you can see some of the fun events we have planned. Don’t forget to sign up to compete in the games for your chance to win cash and prizes. The "Waiting to Wed" Game (our version of the Newlywed Game) has a sweet little prize pack for the winners. It will be a date night to remember and we are only taking a handful of couples, so don’t miss out on that. You may want to refresh your memory on the term "whoopee"! 🙂
In addition to the festivities, some great organizations and vendors will be there as well, including:
PFLAG, The Trevor Project, EQCA, Visalia Pride Lions Club, Agency on Aging, Suicide Prevention Task Force, Tulare County Foster/Adoption Agency, V-Town Derby Dames & Darlings, Tianna’s Custom Dog Harnesses & Tutus which goes great with Tulare County Animal Control who will be out there with adoptable animals. We also have Marcy’s Martial Arts who will be doing demo’s, Laura’s Jewelry & Outside the Lines, the ACLU, Clarity of Thought Consulting, and more!
We didn’t forget the kids either. Bounce house, face painting, coloring station, beading, Play-doh station, and horseshoes are just some of the things we have to offer the little ones.
There are people attending from Fresno, Hanford, Porterville, Bakersfield and everywhere in between. So, come out, come out whoever you are and join us for the festival that celebrates our community, our diversity and our love for FUN!
