Robert Peterson of Bakersfield PFLAG will be our program speaker this Sunday, June 21, at the Tulare-Kings Counties PFLAG meeting. The meetings are held the third Sunday of each month, from 3 – 5 pm, at the Congregation B’nai David, Educational and Cultural Center, 1039 S. Chinowth, Visalia.
A daily pill is now available to prevent infection by the HIV virus. Robert Peterson will speak about this breakthrough preventive medication, Pre-exposure Prohylaxis to Prevent HIV Transmission, and how it can be an important part of the battle against HIV and AIDS.
PFLAG provides a safe and confidential space place to talk about sexual orientation and gender identity, and works to build a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
There is no cost to attend, and membership is optional.
PFLAG Tulare and Kings Counties is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status.
